The Alcohol info service website, a national remote alcohol and addiction support and listening device, was renovated in November 2024. New content and formats are being offered, including testimonials to discover real-life experiences and pathways related to at-risk alcohol consumption, as well as videos by addictologists.

The purpose of the website Alcohol info service is to accompany any effort to reduce or stop at-risk alcohol consumption.

The website is:

  • alcohol users who want to influence their consumption;
  • relatives of alcohol users who wish to help them reduce or stop drinking;
  • people who have questions about alcohol.

It has been completely redesigned, in particular to give everyone better access to information and advice on alcohol consumption. It now offers a needs engine, in other words a device that filters and customizes the contents of the site according to your situation and your expectations. Among the profiles offered:

  • “I drink a lot when I party”;
  • “I am pregnant”;
  • “I am under 25 years old”;
  • "i drink from time to time."

What tools are available to help you reduce alcohol consumption or stop drinking?

Alcohol info service offers free:

  • one alcoholometer, which allows you to assess your weekly alcohol consumption against benchmarks based on a few questions and to estimate the risks associated with this consumption;
  • one podcast bringing together 13 testimonies, to discover experiences and concrete pathways related to alcohol consumption;
  • one directory of specialized bodies, listed according to your needs and geographical location;
  • of self-help forums for alcohol users and their relatives;
  • one frequently asked questions with the most frequent queries;
  • one cat facilitated by qualified professionals;
  • of instructional videos brought by addictive psychiatrists who answer questions asked by alcohol users and relatives of alcohol-dependent people (among the topics covered: coping with a relapse, alcohol consumption during pregnancy, aids for those around alcohol-dependent people).
