Heating boost: a help to replace your installation

What is the heating boost bonus?

This financial assistance is offered by energy suppliers (electricity, gas, LPG, domestic fuel oil...) under the Energy Savings Certificates (EEC). It allows individuals to finance the replacement of a gas, coal or oil boiler with a cleaner and less energy-intensive installation, including:

• efficient biomass boiler (boiler that uses an organic fuel such as wood and its derivatives);
• air/water heat pump;
• water/water heat pump (geothermal heat pump);
• Hybrid heat pump (system combining air/water heat pump and condensing boiler technology);
• Combined solar system (a system combining a solar panel and a storage balloon);
• connection to a heat network supplied by renewable or reclaimed energy.

Who can benefit?

The Heating Boost is for all households, owners or tenants, for a main or secondary residence completed more than 2 years. L'order of 20 december 2024 update revenue caps to qualify.

What steps can be taken to benefit from it?

The premium can be paid by wire transfer or check, or deducted from your invoice, or in another form (voucher...).

The steps to be taken are as follows:

• choose an energy supplier (or its partner), signatory to the commitment charter linked to the heating boost bonus. It is recommended that you compare multiple vendors.
• accept the offer of the energy supplier (or its partner) corresponding to your work before signing the quotation;
• select a Recognized Professional Guarantor of the Environment (EGR) to carry out your work;
• sign the quotation offered by the EGR professional;
• have your work done by this professional;
• send the supporting documents of your work to the energy supplier or his partner.
