Verified 07 octobre 2020 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)

When a parent (debtor parent) does not pay to the other parent (creditor) the child's support, the Caf or the MSA can take charge of the recovery (recovery of unpaid amounts). The creditor must request it. He can then receive Family Support Allowance (FSA), under certain conditions. He may also instruct the Caf or the MSA to collect maintenance from the other parent each month (intermediation).
