In the metropolis

No, you have to provide the photo.

Overseas

It all depends on the location of the request and whether or not a professional photographer is present.

No, you have to provide the photo.

Yes, but only if there is no professional photographer who can do it.

if the photo is taken at the counter, the cost of the passport is higher: €3 additional.

Abroad

The photo can be taken directly at the counter in Equatorial Guinea (Malabo post) and in Mauritania (Nouakchott post).

In all other countries, you must provide the photo.

If you are a resident of Canada or Portugal and would like to renew your passport, you can do so without traveling to the embassy or consulate if you meet more than one condition.
