Verified 13 September 2021 - Legal and Administrative Information Directorate (Prime Minister)

General information document from 2 quarters of validated pension insurance

The general information document for any insured who has validated at least 2 quarters of pension insurance is no longer provided. A new offer is being built.

This page will be updated as soon as this new information offer is up and running.

As a public servant (or contracting officer of the public service), you have a right to information about retirement. You benefit from a general information document, an individual status report, an information interview and an overall indicative estimate. Access to these information devices varies depending on your age and duration of insurance.

Once you have validated at least 2 quarters of pension insurance, your pension fund will issue you a general information document.

This document is sent to you by mail or mail within one year of the year in which you have validated these 2 quarters.

This document includes the following information:

  • Overview of the pay-as-you-go pension system, rules for acquiring pension rights and calculating pensions
  • Information on the effects on retirement of part-time work, certain events that may affect your career (unemployment, periods of inactivity, ...) or certain career choices (expatriation for example)

From 35 and up to 50, you receive, every 5 years, a individual situation report.

This statement informs you about the duration of pension insurance and the points earned in each basic and supplementary pension scheme from which you acquired rights.

You can also view it online on the service See my career.
