Retirement of a public official: what is the premium?

If you retire beyond the minimum age of departure by having a number of higher pension insurance quarters the number of quarters required to qualify for a full-rate pension, your retirement pension is increased based on the number of additional quarters you have.
The additional working quarters taken into account are calendar quarters integers following the one in which you reached the minimum retirement age.
Each additional full calendar quarter worked increases your retirement by 1.25%.
Warning
The premium does not add up to the parental benefit (granted if you have reached, at age 63, the number of quarters required to qualify for a full-rate pension and if you have at least 1 quarter of free child pension insurance).

Reminder
To be eligible for a pension as an active category civil servant, you must have completed at least 17 years in one or more active category jobs.
For example, if you are a sedentary public servant born in 1964, if you continue to work beyond the age of 63 and beyond 171 quarters, your pension will be increased by 1.25% per quarter worked beyond 171e.
If you work for example 4 additional quarters, your retirement pension will be increased by 5%.
