Can an employee resign during a work stoppage?

Yes, an employee may resign during a work stoppage due to an illness, accident at work or a occupational disease.
If the work stoppage ends after the duration of the notice, the notice is not extended and ends on the date originally scheduled.
If the work stoppage ends front at the end of the notice period, the employee shall to make the remaining period of notice in the company.
The employer may exempt the employee from completing the notice period.
