The remuneration of the joint-ownership trustee varies according to whether he carries out his activity professionally or not.

Professional Trustee

The trustee offers his rates freely. The general meeting then determines the amount of the trustee's fees by a vote of the co-owners by an absolute majority.

The absolute majority (said majority of article 25) corresponds to the majority of the votes of all the co-owners of the building (present, represented and absent).

If the decision has received at least of the votes, it may be the subject of a 2nd simple majority vote on article 24 (majority of votes of co-owners present, represented or voting by mail).

The trustee's remuneration includes the following:

Non-professional liquidator

The non-professional trustee may be reimbursed for the necessary costs and remuneration for working time spent on the joint ownership. The fee may be fixed on an annual basis, at an hourly cost or other terms and conditions left to the parties.
