Opening a secondary or complementary establishment

Open a new establishment Expand your company's reach and gain market share by targeting new customers. It may be an establishment secondary (located in a new department) or an institution complementary (which is located in the same department as your main establishment).

You're opening a secondary school
L'secondary school is a place of business, separate from the main establishment, which allows the company to gain visibility in another geographical area.
It can take the form of a new shop, agency or office, with separate representatives.
The secondary school is located outside the jurisdiction of the court where the main establishment is already registered.
It is an integral part of the company, but it has its own registration to SCR: titleContent and the RNE: titleContent.
While the secondary school has some management autonomy, it does not no legal personality of its own, distinct from the business. The business and its establishments are one and the same entity, one and the same legal person.

Who shall I contact
The opening of a secondary school entails thecompulsory registration from the new establishment to SCR: titleContent and the RNE: titleContent within1 month before or after the opening.
Registration of the new establishment must be carried out on the website of the company formalities office :
When reporting, you must submit the supporting documents following:
- In case of management leasing of the new establishment: copy of the management leasing contract
- In case of exercise of a regulated activity : copy or original of the prior authorization or declaration
FYI
When the new establishment is registered, you receive a Siret number supplementary. You then have 2 Siret numbers, one for your main establishment and the other for your secondary establishment.
The declaration of the secondary school shall be obligatory.
The absence of a declaration shall be treated as a concealment of activity, an offense punishable by 3 years imprisonment and €45,000 fine.
You are opening an additional establishment
L'complementary establishment is a business location, distinct from the principal place of business, which allows the company to gain visibility in another geographic area.
It can take the form of a new shop, agency or office, with separate representatives.
The additional establishment is located within the jurisdiction of the court where the main establishment is already registered.
It is an integral part of the company, but it has its own registration to SCR: titleContent and the RNE: titleContent .
Although the additional establishment enjoys a certain degree of management autonomy, it does not no legal personality of its own, distinct from the business.
The business and its establishments are one and the same entity, one and the same legal person.
