Public transport: incidents can be filmed by agents

The sworn transport services officer may trigger registration when:

• the transport user exhibits, physically or verbally, threatening, aggressive or violent behavior, or is likely to become so;
• the transport user requests it;
• the number of sworn agents present is manifestly lower than the number of persons involved or likely to be involved;
• the intervention takes place in a place which, by its configuration, presents a particular risk of harm to persons or property.

The camera is visibly worn by the agent, and a specific visual signal indicates whether the camera is recording. The staff member must orally inform them that he is registering. This information may be deferred when the situation gives rise to a fear of an immediate risk to the life or integrity of a person.

Audiovisual recordings, except where they are used in judicial, administrative or disciplinary proceedings, shall be erased after six months.
