The number of trainings obtained through a Personal Training Account (PTA) nearly doubled in 2020. A study by the Directorate of Research, Studies and Statistics of the Ministry of Labor (Dares) highlights the role of the direct purchasing route in this increase.
In 2020, the Personal Training Account (PTA) funded nearly one million trainings for workers and the unemployed (517,000 in 2019). The Dares study of 28 October 2021 gives a very positive 2020 assessment of the progress of the device, despite the slowdown in training inflows during lockdowns.
As a reminder, the Personal Training Account (PTA) has replaced the Individual Training Right (ITL). The system, in force since 2015, allows an employee to follow a qualifying or certifying training until retirement (read more about Vie-publique.fr).
