Male condom: a 2nd brand reimbursed by Health Insurance

After Eden in december 2018, it's the brand Get out covered!, marketed by a French laboratory, which is also covered by the Social Security on prescription of a doctor or midwife.

These male condoms, sold in packs of 12 at the price of €2 will be reimbursed up to 60% up to 1^er March 2024.

Following a favorable opinion of the High Health Authority (HAS) and taking into account the frequency and severity of the diseases concerned, this measure is aimed at the prevention of the following sexually transmitted infections (STI):

• Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV);
• Herpes simplex virus (HSV-2);
• Papillomavirus (HPV);
• Hepatitis B;
• Syphilis;
• Chlamydia;
• Gonorrhea;
• Trichomonas.
