Justice reform: publication of two laws in the Official Journal

These texts provide in particular for:

• the establishment of a national counter-terrorism prosecutor's office;
• the merger of the court of first instance and the court of first instance;
• the possibility of reforming juvenile justice;
• filing a complaint online;
• the development of amicable settlement methods;
• extending the use of a lawyer in complex disputes;
• simplifying the divorce procedure (excluding divorce by mutual consent) by abolishing the conciliation phase;
• the application of a flat-rate fine to the offenses of selling alcohol to minors and using drugs (€200);
• the rewriting of the scale of sentences (extension of the possibilities of recourse to community service, no prison sentence below one month, execution of sentences from one to six months under an electronic bracelet, in a day-release center or in an outside placement in an association, no adjustment of sentence for sentences beyond one year, systematization of the release under duress to 2/3 of the duration provided for prisoners sentenced to a sentence of up to five years...);
• the diversification of care arrangements for juvenile offenders.
