To be eligible to vote in municipal elections scheduled for March 2020, you must be registered to vote. This is possible until Friday, February 7, 2020 (and no longer until December 31 of the year before the vote as was the case until the 2017 elections).
How do I register?
You have three solutions:
the on-line service (with the digitized version of proof of identity and proof of domicile) accessible with an account Service-public.fr or via France Connect ;
a letter, by sending to the town hall of your commune a photocopy of a proof of identity and a proof of domicile as well as the application form completed;
on the spot, in the town hall by presenting an identity document, a proof of residence and the application form completed.
Reminder
The deletion of the 31 December deadline follows Law No. 2016-1048.
