Closure of hunting for birds of passage and waterfowl: reminder of dates

Surface ducks or diving ducks, geese, shorebirds, pigeons, thrushes, quails, woodcocks, turtle doves... It is a decree of 19 January 2009 which sets the dates for the closure of hunting of passing birds and waterfowl:

• 31 January for surface ducks and certain diving ducks, but also for rallids (water hens...), geese, field larks and shorebirds (snipe from the marshes for example);
• February 10 for certain diving ducks, pigeons (bisets, doves, roars), blackbirds or even thrushes (litornes, musicians, bad ones, drains);
• February 20 for wheat quail, woodcock, turkish doves and wood doves.
