Divorce and separation: how can the amount of maintenance be increased?

The maintenance review simulator of the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), available online at Service-public.fr, allows you to calculate the new pension amount with a few elements:

• the date of your judgment;
• the type of consumer price index on which the pension is indexed (all urban households or households);
• the date of revision of the pension;
• the amount of maintenance to be reassessed.

This information shall be entered in the judgment or order for divorce or payment. Generally, they are in the last pages of the judgment, in the paragraph

• Case A: you want to increase your maintenance compared to last year;
• Case B: you divorced in 1971 or later and did not regularly increase your maintenance payments.
