Accompanied hunting: where to apply for a permit from 1 July?

There are two steps to getting your permission:

1. Complete your basic practical training with the Departmental Hunters Federation.
2. Send your request for authorization to its president (and no longer to the Director General of the French Office for Biodiversity). This request must be made less than one year after completing your basic practical training.

Your file should consist of the following:

• a copy of an identity document;

• the accompanied hunting authorization application form that you will find on the website of your Departmental Federation. This form includes:
  
  • the declaration on honor (signed by your legal representative if you are a minor), stating that you have never been deprived of the right to obtain or hold a hunting permit by court order;
  • the declaration on the honor of each of the persons responsible for accompanying them certifying that they have held a hunting license for more than five years, that they have never been deprived of the right to obtain or hold a hunting license by a court decision and that they have insurance covering their civil liability for such accompanying;
  • the attestation of participation in hunting safety training for each of the persons responsible for accompanying them.
