Created in 2002, the validation of experience acquired (VAE) makes it possible to obtain all or part of a diploma after examination by a jury. In 2019, 43% EAV beneficiaries have obtained a professional license. And more than 90% of those obtaining an EAV are in employment.
The VAE (validation of experience acquired) is an approach that lasts on average for just under 16 months, after which the candidate can be granted a full, partial VAE by the selection board (his application may also be refused). Employer and self-financing account for almost three-quarters of funding sources.
The December 2020 Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation Statistical Office Briefing Note provides an update on the validations issued in full or in part in 2019 by universities and the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (Cnam) (read more about Vie-publique.fr).
