Flooding and mudslides, flooding by rising water tables, land movements... Published on Official Journal on march 20, 2021, a decree recognized the state of natural disaster for some municipalities located in 7 departments for events that occurred between the beginning of april 2019 and end of december 2019 due to drought and soil rehydration.
Victims have 10 days after publication in the Official Journal to make the declaration to their insurer to cover the settlement of the claim.

The state of natural disaster is a guarantee put in place by the state since 1982 to compensate the victims of rare natural episodes (drought, violent storms, floods, mudslides, avalanches, earthquakes...). This is reflected in bylaws that determine the areas and periods when the damage occurred.
