Patents, baccalaureate...: rules to follow, copy consultations, note challenges, we explain

In terms of rules that apply to any candidate during an examination, the applicant shall respect all matters relating to:

• access to the room (timetables, choice of place, identity check, authorized equipment, prohibition of communication between candidates);
• the exit from the room (temporary exit to go to the toilet, permanent exit that is not possible during the first hour of the event).

In the event of attempted or misdemeanor fraud at the baccalaureate (to be replaced by another person during a test, to communicate with other candidates during the test, to use a device for exchanging information...), the room supervisor intervenes immediately by entering the material and writing a report describing the facts found. In some cases, the head of the center may decide to expel the offending candidate immediately.

In the end, the candidate will receive a score of 0/20 on the test which may be accompanied by other sanctions (reprimand, deprivation of mention to the diploma, prohibition to participate in any examination of National Education for a period of 5 years...).

For consult a copy of the examination, written request must be made to the examination center within 1 year of publication of the results, but consultation is possible only on site.

Following this consultation, the applicant shall have the opportunity to challenge the score obtained if he has noticed a material error (error in counting points or in transcribing the note between the copy and the note statement). On the other hand, it is not possible to obtain a second correction of the copy, as the board does not have to justify its decision.
