Capes, Aggregation, School Teachers' Contest: 2020 Teaching Contest Maintained

The timetable and arrangements for organizing the tests differ according to the recruitment competition and the disciplines chosen. Each candidate has received a personal letter informing him of the new terms of the competition in which he is registered. Competition with only written admission tests

It's the external competitions and the three^e competitions for which written tests have not yet been held. Written tests are maintained and will become admission tests following the removal of oral tests. Written admission tests will run from June 16 until mid-July 2020. They therefore open up to the status of probationary official.

The competitions concerned are:

• External CRPE and 3^e competitions;
• External CAPES and 3^e competitions;
• External CAPLP and 3^e competitions;
• External Aggregation (Arts option plastic arts; Arts options applied arts; Physical and sports education; Geography; History; Mathematics; Music; Philosophy);
• External CAPET (Applied Arts option design; Applied Arts option crafts).

For these newly recruited trainee teachers, the tenure process in spring 2021 will be strengthened, including through an oral hearing, the details of which will be further elaborated.

Competition with written eligibility tests and oral admission tests

These are external competitions and 3^e competitions for which the writings have already taken place. Admission tests will be held in June and July. For certain admission tests, the conduct of which is incompatible with health requirements, adjustments are envisaged. Orders amending the tests have been published in Official Journal of 15 May 2020. For their information, letters will be sent on this subject to the candidates concerned.

The competitions concerned are:

• External CAPET and 3^e competitions;
• External CAPEPS;
• External Aggregation (Classical letters; Grammar; German; English; Arabic; Chinese; Spanish; Hebrew; Italian; Japanese language and culture; Russian; French languages Corsican option; French languages Creole option; Economic and social sciences; Industrial engineering sciences and its various options; Physics-chemistry and its various options; Life sciences, Earth and universe sciences; Biochemistry - Biological engineering; Medical and social sciences; Eco and management and the various options);
• Special external aggregation (Modern literature; English; Physics-chemistry and its various options; Life sciences, Earth and universe sciences);
• Competition for recruitment to inspection bodies (IEN, IA-IPR);
• Leadership Recruitment Competition (PERDIR).

Competition whose admission tests are postponed to the 2020 school year

These are the closed competitions for which the eligibility tests were held. Admission tests will take place next fall, in September and October 2020.

The competitions concerned are:

· Internal Aggregation;

· CAPES internal;

· CAPLP internal;

· INTERNAL CAPET;

· CAPEPS internal;

· PsyEN and internal CPE;

· Internal CRPE: the 2 writings provided will be admission tests.

Amendments to certain tests of recruitment competitions

Due to the health crisis, for certain admission tests, the conduct of which will be incompatible with health constraints, arrangements have been made. Consult the Ministry of National Education’s file on the Changes to selected tests of the 2020 session teacher recruitment competitions. Orders amending the tests have been published in Official Journal of 15 May 2020. Further orders are likely to be issued soon.
