Medical students: payment of an exceptional allowance

In order to enhance the commitment of students to medical teams in the management of the epidemic crisis, the Ministries of Health and Economy introduced an exceptional allowance in April 2021.

The students concerned are:

• students of 1^re, 2^e and 3^e years of upper medical school;
• students of 1^re and 2^e years of the second cycle of odontology;
• students of 1^re and 2^e years of the second maieutics cycle;
• students of 2^e year of the second cycle of pharmacy.

The amount of the allowance shall be fixed on the basis of a minimum of five working days in a critical care unit or a SARS-CoV-2 patient unit between 1^er April 2021 and June 30, 2021, at:

• €65 gross per week for students in 4^e year;
• €80 gross per week for students in 5^e year;
• €97.5 raw for students in 6^e medical year.

The exceptional allowance shall be paid by the university hospital center of attachment at the end of the month in which the financial year qualifies for payment of the premium.
