I was not yet an adult, I did not have French nationality, I was not registered to vote by mistake: I was not able to vote in the first round of the departmental and regional elections on June 20. My situation has changed since then. Will I be able to vote for the second round on 27 June? Service-Public.fr answers you.
Even if I couldn't vote on the 1er in the second round, I could vote if I was in one of the following situations:
I am automatically registered to vote because I am 18 years old before June 27;
i am officially registered to vote because i obtained french nationality before 27 june;
i am registered to vote by court order: i go to the polling station with the decision of the judge who authorizes me to do so.
As a reminder, anyone who feels that they meet the criteria for registration can apply to the judicial judge until election day to be registered on the voters list.
FYI
The organization of double voting and the health measures put in place have sometimes forced municipalities to move some polling stations to larger and more suitable locations. It is recommended that you check the updated list with from your town hall or on the website of your departmental prefecture which publishes the Prefectural Decree listing the polling stations.
