Orders of September 2017 set up new Staff Representative Bodies (IRPs) in the companies of at least 11 employees. They had to put them in place before the firster January 2020. In 2019, almost a third of companies have a new IORP, most commonly a Social and Economic Committee (ESC).
The Directorate of Research, Studies and Statistics (Dares) published a study on representative bodies of staff in December 2021 in 2019. It takes stock of the transition to new bodies within the companies (read more about Vie-publique.fr).
