Homeowners who rent their accommodation to people in precarious situations through an intermediary (social association for example) must apply rents, the ceilings of which are fixed by an order published in the Official Journal of 5 April 2019.
These monthly rent caps range from €11.86 per square meter (excluding loads) in the most stretched areas to €7 for less tense areas.
In the case of rental intermediation, it is the association that is the tenant and it is it that pays the rents and charges, as well as the routine maintenance and small repairs of the housing (not normal antiquity). However, it is the association that chooses the person who will actually live in the dwelling.
