Can a hotel refuse to accommodate children?

Since single rooms are rare, single people are sometimes also faced with a refusal to sell by hoteliers who fear losing the potential benefit of one or more pensions or half-pensions by renting them a room in high season.

This is also discrimination on the basis of their family status.

However, a single person who is granted a room for two people, when there is no single room available, cannot demand a price reduction. But the hotelier is not allowed to charge him extra services on the pretext that he is alone.
