Although the affixing of a special badge on their car is not compulsory when drivers are getting older, they are nevertheless advised to consult a doctor regularly to check their state of health and also to adapt their driving if necessary, the required skills changing with age. Indeed, seniors represent 25% persons killed in a traffic accident while they were 19% of the population.
