Regulated gas tariffs: + 2,4 % on 1 December 2020

Engie's regulated gas sales rates increase by 2.4% on average at 1^er december 2020 compared to the scale applicable since 1^er November 2020. This was stated by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) in a deliberation of 19 November 2020.

Complementary health

From 1^er december 2020, you can terminate your health add-on contract without penalties at any time after 1^re year. A decree published in the Official Gazette on 25 November 2020 thus implements the law of 14 July 2019 on the right to terminate health care contracts free of charge.

Taxes: deadline for modification and payment

The detailed rules for taking into account periods of short-time work linked to the health crisis in the calculation of pension entitlements are laid down in two decrees published in Official Journal December 2, 2020. In particular, they provide for the fixing of a quota of hours to validate a quarter.

Establishment of a pesticide victims compensation fund

Occupational victims with illnesses linked to exposure to pesticides can now apply for compensation. The newly created Pesticide Victims Compensation Fund (PIF) provides for better recognition of these occupational diseases. It compensates farmers but also children who have been exposed to pesticides before birth. Farmers retired before 2002 are also affected. A decree was issued in Official Journal 29 november 2020 under the 2020 social security finance law.
