What is changing in April 2021

Family benefits

Early Childhood Care Benefit (PAJE), Family Allowances, Removal Allowance, Free Choice of Childcare Supplement (CMG), Education Allowance for Disabled Children (AEEH), Back to School Allowance (ARS)... At 1^er april 2021, family benefits are increased by 0.1% as stated in an interdepartmental instruction dated march 19, 2021.

Disabled adults' allowance (AAH), activity bonus and active solidarity income (RSA)

The amounts of the Disabled Adult Allowance (DAA), Activity Premium and Active Solidarity Income (SSA) have been increased as of 1 April 2021. Three decrees were issued in the Official Journal of friday, april 30, 2021

Temporary standby allowances, specific solidarity allowances and pension equivalent

The amounts of the Specific Solidarity Allowance (SSA), the Equivalent Retirement Allowance (AER) and the Temporary Standby Allowance (ATA) due from April 2021 are revalued. That is what an order in council in the House of Commons just said Official Journal of 30 April 2021.

Birth premium

The birth grant will be paid in April 2021 for pregnancies that started between 1^er June 2020 and September 30, 2020. Under the Social Security Financing Act (SFSA), this premium is now paid before the last day of the month following 6^e month of pregnancy (previously paid before the end of the last day of the second month following birth) for pregnancies that started on or after 1^er October 2020.

Complementary health solidarity (ex-CMU-C)

The new annual ceiling of resources not to be exceeded in order to benefit from the supplementary protection of solidarity-based health is fixed, as from 1^er April 2021, at €9,041 for a single person.

Public service

From 1^er April 2021, category C public servants in the three public services (state, hospital and territorial) benefit from an increase in the value of their index point.

Gas tariffs

Cooking, hot water and heating: at 1^er april 2021, regulated gas tariffs are decreasing on average by 4.1%.

Extending the Winter Truce

In the face of the health crisis, the winter truce for rental evictions has been postponed for two months. It will end on the 1st^er June 2021 instead of 1^er April 2021.

, whether food or non-food. Professionals are now required to report their recalls on this site, when a consumer product poses a health or safety risk.
