2021 Income Tax Return 2020: What are the possible exemptions and reductions this year?

Exemptions or reductions shall apply to:

• telework costs up to €550 ;
• overtime up to €5,000. They shall be increased to €7,500 for hours worked between March 16 and July 10, 2020, a state of health emergency;
• the purchasing power premium of €1,000 or €2,000 where the premium is paid under an incentive arrangement;
• Exceptional premiums COVID-19 of a maximum amount of €1,500, for health workers in the public or private sector or in the social and medico-social sector;
• aid paid to craftsmen, traders, professionals and self-employed persons affected by the consequences of the health crisis;
• donations to associations that provide support to the most vulnerable people affected by the health crisis (organizations helping people in difficulty or victims of domestic violence);
• the sustainable mobility package up to €500 ;
• rent forgiveness. Lenders of commercial or professional premises who have decided not to take the rents because of the crisis may deduct the costs of ownership and interest on loans;
• personal services at home or, due to the health crisis, remotely via the internet (videoconferencing, tutoring, private lessons: gymnastics, music...) allow you to benefit from a tax credit equal to half of the expenses paid, up to a maximum of €12,000 per year, increased to €15,000 in certain situations.
