Parking on the sidewalks is allowed, provided that pedestrians are not disturbed. However, the mayor may decide to prohibit it.

The maximum speed authorized is 25 kph.

The craft cannot carry more than one person at a time.

Warning

for your safety, wearing a helmet is recommended.

To use an electric scooter (including self-service scooters) you must have third party insurance. This insurance covers damage caused to others (injury to a pedestrian, material damage to another vehicle...). It is recommended to contact your insurer to adapt your home insurance contract or to take out a specific insurance contract.

Please note

if you are using a self-service scooter, consider checking the insurance terms set out in the rental agreement.
