Challenge of a judgment
Any civil or criminal judgment may be challenged by various means of appeal. The appeal allows for a challenge of the decision from a first trial. The opposition allows for a challenge to a judgment rendered in his absence. An appeal on a point of law allows a formal judgment to be challenged when there is no or no further possibility of appeal. The review allows a judgment to be challenged if new evidence has emerged.
