For individuals

On Service-Public.fr, anyone can create a personal space. This space allows you to follow your online procedures carried out from the Service-Public.fr website, manage your administrative documents and exchange with the administrations. When an approach requires the connection to the account, the login page will be offered.

For associations

You can also create an association space, a space specific to the management of association procedures: it is intended for the management of information, documents and online procedures relating to an association as well as for exchanges with administrations.

For professionals

These steps are accessible without account, you are informed by email of the status of your case.

Click on the "Sign in" button at the top right of the site screens and choose the option "no account yet?"

Then fill in the required fields:

  • email: this address will be the account identifier, it must be personal (don't use shared email with other people your family or association)
  • Password: It must be at least eight characters long with at least one uppercase letter, at least one lowercase letter, at least one digit.
  • Validate terms and conditions.
  • Copy the security code.
  • Then click on the "Create an account" button

An email will be sent to the address indicated with a link allowing the final creation of the account. You can request the sending of a new email for one month. As a precaution, make sure that this email is not in your email's Spam folder.

If you have not received the validation email, you can request a referral on the account login page under "I already have an account".

By filling in your email and password, a message appears indicating the need to validate the account. Click on the link "Request another email".

Those who may have difficulty creating an account are invited to visit the account creation request.

Thanks to the multi-spaces you can have a personal space and one or more association spaces through a single account.

This means that you no longer have to have multiple email addresses to manage a personal space and an association space: a single email address and a single password are sufficient to manage both your personal administrative activities and the administrative activities of your association(s).

It should be noted that even if these two spaces are accessible via a single account, they are quite distinct from each other.

How does it work?

You have to create an account first.

If you've created an account, sign in.

Click the "Add Association" button. Enter the name of your association and validate. Your team space is created.

You can create as many association spaces as you want. You can navigate from one space to another (personal and association) freely without having to log in again.

Click the "Add Association" button. Enter the name of your association and validate. Your team space is created.

Once you have logged in to the service-public.fr account, you can log out at any time by clicking on your email address at the top right of the page.

Be careful, on mobile devices your email address is in the fold-out menu at the top of the page.

Then click on the "Logout" button.

In the case of an account linked with FranceConnect, this button also allows you to disconnect by answering "Yes" on the FranceConnect disconnect screen.

If you forget your password, you can create a new one. To do this, go to the “Forgot your password” page, then enter your registration email and click on the “Continue” button. In the email you will receive at this address, click on the link to create a new password.

You can change your password at any time. To do this, simply go to the “Login, Security and Setting” section of your account.

To change your password, you must enter your old password first.

The new password must always be at least eight characters long with at least one upper case letter, at least one lower case letter, at least one digit.

If you use FranceConnect, you must request a password change with the account you use (impots.gouv.fr, Ameli, etc.)

You can delete your account at any time. To do this, simply go to the “Login, Security and Setting” section of your account.

By deleting your service-public.fr account, you will delete all the documents and information it contains. We recommend that you download your documents before deleting your account.

You can add to or change your personal information at any time. To do this, simply go to the “My Personal Information” section of your account where you can edit the topics:

  • Contact
  • Family situation
  • Primary Address

You cannot change personal information that comes from FranceConnect (mainly identity data).

When you open an account, you have a personal briefcase. It allows you to manage your main administrative documents and to transmit them to administrations during online procedures carried out from service-public.fr.

The Briefcase allows you to download your documents for storage in this secure space and manage them there: modify, delete, manage the information related to each document (document name, type, expiry date).

It also allows you to receive any document or attestation in return of online processes done from service-public.fr.

The files stored in the briefcase may not exceed 4.0 MB each. The entire briefcase can hold up to 235 MB of documents.

Your service-public.fr account allows you to track the operations you have performed. A chronological activity thread allows the tracking of the online procedures carried out from service-public.fr: at any time, you can know the status of your procedure and the status of your file submitted to the administration.

FranceConnect is a digital authentication device guaranteeing a user's identity to user sites or applications by relying on existing accounts for which his identity has already been verified. In particular, this device allows you to access the websites and digital public services that have integrated this device without having to create a new account.

With FranceConnect, the user logs on to public-service using his tax account (impots.gouv.fr) or his AMELI account. Whatever the account chosen, the result is the same: only the identity information (civility, surname, first names, place and date of birth) are transmitted to service-public.fr.

Service-public.fr is a partner of FranceConnect. You will be able to create an account and identify yourself using an already existing account, called “identity provider” (impots.gouv.fr, ameli.gouv.fr, etc... ).

To do this, choose "Sign in with FranceConnect" in the account creation page. Select one of the displayed accounts. Then enter the usernames and passwords requested by the selected account.

The FranceConnect history allows the user to follow all the actions of connection and data exchange, in complete transparency, and to be informed of any activity carried out on the different online services, partners of FranceConnect.

To end the link, choose the "Login, security and setup" page in the personal area. Then choose the button "Remove my link with FranceConnect".

Service-public.fr implements all measures to preserve the security of the data collected from users, and in particular to prevent it from being distorted, damaged or from unauthorized third parties accessing it.

The CNIL has returned a notice of compliance on service-public.fr. The 2016 public-service information system has been RGS certified (General security repository).

In addition, service-public.fr does not have the possibility to access the data provided in the user accounts. The information transmitted by the user remains under his control. They may change or delete them at any time. He can choose to delete all information from his account by deleting his account service-public.fr. Only the information necessary to respond to any disputes and to the statistical needs of the service is kept.
