European Mobility Week: this year, share the public space!

Publié le 06 septembre 2024 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)

The 23rde European Mobility Week takes place from 16 to 22 September 2024. It is an annual event held in many European cities. The aim is to encourage citizens and communities to choose more sustainable modes of travel. This year, the focus is on the notion of shared public space. The registration platform has been open since the beginning of summer.

The event highlights mobility management, including mobility plans, as well as measures and strategies that have a significant impact on sustainable mobility: the organization of actions focusing on sustainable mobility during the week of the main event, from 16 to 22 September (mobility challenges, awareness-raising workshops...); the exploitation of a permanent action in favor of sustainable mobility carried out in the last twelve months, and finally organizing a car-free day.

How to participate?

Individuals, communities, public institutions, companies and associations can submit and share their projects during Sustainable Mobility Week.
