from the Ministry of the Ecological Transition, or email warnings about the risk of floods in your area or city by subscribing to the website service.

The site Vigicures and its smartphone app allows users to receive personalized information by email or notification: warnings about vigilance levels at the scale of a territory, department or stretch of water, alerts about water heights or flows at hydrometric measuring stations, or detailed flood information bulletins.

This service allows you to be informed in real time of the evolution of a situation and to take the appropriate steps to avoid damage to your property or risks for people.

You must create your account by clicking

my account

at the top of the Vigicrues home page and set up the desired subscriptions and warnings. All these features are also available on the application.

The Vigicrues service teams provide 24/7 flood vigilance.

What does Vigicrues offer?

The Vigicrues website already offers:

  • the map of the monitored watercourses with a color of vigilance appropriate to the situation (green, yellow, orange or red);
  • detailed information bulletins;
  • water height and flow charts with predictions;
  • maps of areas potentially flooded during a flood;
  • behavioral advice.

Please note

On the map of monitored watercourses, the different sections can take one of the following four colors (depending on the situation at the time):

  • red (major flood risk);
  • orange (risk of floods causing significant overflows);
  • yellow (risk of overflow floods);
  • green (no special vigilance required).

Vigicures Application

The Vigicrues app, available since March 28, 2022, is available for free download and only on mobile (Android). It offers all the features available on the site and allows the user to receive a notification in case of raw vigilance, to be warned everywhere and at any time.

New features such as geolocation will soon be available.

This app is available in beta and users can send their feedback via the contact form.
