How do I get help if I have trouble completing my tax return?

You can contact your personal income tax office, the number of which is indicated on your tax notice. You can also call the toll-free number 0 809 401 401, which is available Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 7pm.

Make an appointment with a tax authority officer

If you are in doubt, have a significant change in your 2022 situation or have a problem completing your tax return, you can also make an appointment with a Public Finance Officer. In this case, log in to your Private Space on the site impots.gouv.fr, click the

You can choose between an appointment by telephone, videoconference or on site, at the counter, and choose the available slot. To complete your application, you will need to provide your first and last name, tax number, telephone number and email address. You can also change or cancel your appointment if you are prevented from doing so.

You can find the DGFiP agents in the spaces France Services but also during appointments or permanent meetings in town hall, or by videoconference. They will be able to answer all your questions by having access to your file. France Services also offers support and guides you in your online activities, according to your level of autonomy. Please note that no paper declaration can be received in France Services.
