Ministry of Interior publishes official list of candidates for legislative elections

The nomination period for the parliamentary elections ended on 20 May at 6 p.m. 6,293 candidates are in the running for the first round on June 12, 2022.

The Interior Ministry has made public the official list of candidates for the parliamentary elections. Nominations are submitted by constituency. In total, the Ministry of the Interior lists 6,293 candidates for the 577 seats to be filled, an average of around 11 candidates per constituency. In the previous parliamentary elections in 2017, 7,882 were in the running for the first round. In 2012 there were 6 611 (read more).
