Legislative 2022: results of the first round

The results of the first round of voting for the 2022 parliamentary elections are available on the Interior Ministry website. This first round is characterized by a new record for the abstention rate. The rate stands at 52.49% compared to 51.29% in 2017 (which had already been a record for Ve Republic).

At the end of this first round, five deputies are elected (four in 2017 and 36 deputies elected in the first round in 2012). 572 constituencies are in the runoff.

In nuances, the three parties that came out on top are: Together! (Presidential majority) 25.75%, New People's, Ecological and Social Union (Nupes) 25.66, the National Rally (RN) 18.68 (read more).
