Drinking water: in which region of France is it the most expensive?

In its latest report, the Observatory of Public Water and Sanitation Services shows a slight increase in the cost of drinking water on 1er January 2021, as well as a wide disparity in prices between regions. Losses due to network leaks remain stable and account for nearly one billion cubic meters nationally.

Implemented by the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB), the 2022 edition of the Observatoire des services publics d'eau et d'sanitation provides an overview of the organization and performance of public water and sanitation services.
