September 28 is World Abortion Rights Day. On this occasion, Vie-publique.fr offers a selection of public speeches on the subject since the promulgation of the Veil Act in 1975. This law has since undergone many changes.

The right to abortion is regularly challenged by countries such as Poland in 2020 or the United States in 2022. In this context, several French politicians recently tabled a bill to enshrine abortion in the Constitution. (Read more about the article).
