Removing the red stamp: how to send priority mail?

Announced in July 2022, the removal of the red priority letter stamp has been in effect since the 1st^er January 2023.

To send a priority letter, distributed the day after the dispatch (except Sundays and public holidays), you now have the "red e-letter" accessible:

• since La Poste website. You can write your letter directly online, use one of the 200 letter templates available, download a document from your computer or reuse a draft saved in your account.
• from a Post Office with the help of a customer advisor. Prepare your mail at home and your recipient's contact information. The customer adviser will scan your mail and fill in your details and those of your recipient.

To track your mail, you must select the "followed red e-letter" when choosing the postage terms. With this option, you can keep up to date with the various stages of mail delivery and the delivery date on la poste.fr.

The mail is then printed in the mail center closest to the recipient, put in an envelope and distributed to your recipient the next day (except Sundays and public holidays) for any online order paid the same day before 8pm.

You can consult the e-mail rates to 1^er January 2023.

You can still use the red stamps in your possession after 1^er January 2023. Post-paid letters with red stamps will simply be distributed in 3 days as opposed to one day before.
