The advance directives are a statement written in advance by a person to express his or her wishes related to the end of life.

In particular, they should enable doctors to make decisions about the care to be provided (whether to continue, limit, or refuse treatment or medical treatment), for example when a person is no longer able to express his or her wishes.

Why make advance directives? Who can write them and how? How long are they valid? Is it possible to change them? How do I let you know that you wrote this document? Etc.

The detail sheet of Service-Public.fr answers all your questions and also offers you a drafting model.
