Are you an individual, a professional, a community and you need information about the Olympic Games and their impact on your daily life? Do you live in Île-de-France, Paris or in a city hosting competitions?

The site anticipate gamesgames.gouv is intended to help you in your logistics organization during this period, while around 800,000 people per day are expected during the event.

Reminder of dates

  • The Olympic Games will take place from july 26 to august 11, 2024.
  • The Paralympic Games will be held from august 28 to september 8, 2024.

Practical tools

  • Interactive maps of impacts on public transport and roads in Île-de-France, thanks to information provided by Île-de-France Mobilités. The map makes it possible to visualize the security perimeters of the competition sites and the traffic forecasts by line and by station (metro, RER, train, tram), daily and in real time (specifying the place, the date and the time of your trip), with the proposal of alternative routes.
  • Tips to optimize your trips: timetables, deliveries, moving, means of transport available depending on the distance to travel
  • Of info alerts : all last minute news on the impacts in the departments of Île-de-France hosting the JOPs, difficulties on roads and in public transport, and alternative modes of travel.

For professionals and communities

Complete information for each city involved in the Games

The Olympic and Paralympic Games are organized on 35 competition venues, in mainland France and overseas.

There are 25 sites in Île-de-France, 13 of which are in and around Paris: the departments of Seine-Saint-Denis, Hauts-de-Seine, Yvelines and Seine-et-Marne.

Other cities hosting competitions are: Bordeaux, Châteauroux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Saint-Étienne and Tahiti.

For each competition venue you are offered:

  • the timetable of the tests;
  • information on public transport, planned disruptions with alternative routes;
  • the traffic point on airports, roads, bicycle transport and bicycle paths;
  • the latest information on car parks and parking in the area concerned.

FYI  

the interior minister said that a QR code will be required to access the secure perimeter for the opening ceremony scheduled for July 26, 2024, and to circulate in the affected area, as early as a week before. The platform to generate this pass must open  as of may 10, 2024.
