If you only used the name of your spouse

For example, if you were using Martin instead of your birth name Dupont, you can continue to use Martin.

If you wish, you can put the words on your papers widowed or widow between your surname and your spouse's last name.

Simply tick this choice in the relevant form.

Example: Dupont widow Martin.

If you used a double name consisting of your name and the name of the person you were married to

For example, if you were using Dupont Martin as a usage name, you can continue to use that usage name.
