Which qualifications and diplomas are recognized as being for professional purposes?

Titles and diplomas officially recognized as being for professional purposes are issued in the name of the State.

They prove that you are proficient in the skills, abilities and knowledge required for the pursuit of qualified professional activities.

They shall be set up after consulting the advisory bodies (such as the Commission for the Qualifications of Engineers) in which the organizations representing employers and employees sit.

These include:

• Professional Bin or technological
• Certificate of Professional Competence (CAP)
• Professional patent (BP)
• Senior Technician Certificate (BTS)
• Professional license
• Engineering degree

Professional qualifications and diplomas are registered in the National Register of Professional Qualifications (NCPR).

Consultation of the NCPR allows interested individuals and companies to:

• Check whether a specific qualification or diploma is for professional purposes
• Know the professional qualifications or diplomas valid in a defined sector or trade
• Know all the qualifications and diplomas corresponding to the same level of qualification (from level 1 to level 8).

Titles and diplomas are classified by field of activity and by level.

The NCPR also mentions any special conditions for obtaining a diploma or a diploma for professional purposes.
