Your child is enrolled in elementary school (CP to CM2) and you want to know if you can benefit from financial assistance? There is no national scholarship for a child in elementary school. However, some departments may grant you a scholarship to attend school. Some municipalities may also grant you a scholarship if your child attends one of their schools. The grants of the department and the municipality may be cumulated.
Departmental Scholarship
The scholarship for school attendance not paid in all departments.
The conditions of award vary from one department to another.
However, in all cases, your child must meet the following 3 conditions:
- Be enrolled in elementary school (from CP to CM2)
- Being in a school more than 3 kilometers away from home
- Be a half-boarder or a boarder.
Your income and expenses are taken into account for the award of the grant.
To check if this device exists in your home department, you must contact the department's services.
If the scholarship exists, you must apply at the beginning of the school year.
The file is given to you by the principal of the school.
You must renew your application every year.
The amount of the scholarship varies according to your department of residence.

Some municipalities may grant you a scholarship if your child is enrolled in one of their schools.
This grant is usually awarded on a means-tested basis.
