Do you have to provide a medical certificate to the school if your child is sick?

You need to provide a medical certificate only if your child has a contagious disease.
These diseases include:
- Pertussis
- Diphtheria
- Meningococcal meningitis
- Poliomyelitis
- Measles, mumps, rubella
- Group A haemolytic streptococcal infections
- Typhoid and paratyphoid fevers
- HIV or hepatitis B virus infection
- Tinea
- Respiratory tuberculosis
- Pediculosis
- Amebic or bacillary dysentery
- Scabies
- Epidemic influenza syndrome
- Hepatitis A
- Impetigo (and other pyoderma)
In these cases, you must provide the medical certificate to the school as soon as your child returns to class.
