Ecological bonus 2 or 3 wheels motor or quadricycle motor

What are the rules of the ecological bonus for one 2, 3 wheels or motor quadricycle ? What are the conditions to be met? What is the amount of the aid? How do I apply? We tell you the rules to know from 2023 (invoice date or date of payment of 1er rent for a rented car).
To benefit from the ecological bonus, you must be major and domiciled in France.
The vehicle shall meet all of the following conditions:
- Vehicle nine
- Electric vehicle
- Vehicle registered in France in a definitive series
- Vehicle either purchased or rented under a contract of 2 years or more
- The vehicle must not be sold within one year of purchase or rental, nor before having traveled at least 2,000 km.
The aid shall be paid at most once per person every 3 years.
Please note
if you sell the vehicle within one year of its purchase or rental, and/or before having traveled at least 2,000 km, you will have to return the bonus amount within 3 months of the sale of the vehicle.
The amount of aid depends on the maximum net power of the vehicle engine.

Power output of 2 kilowatts or more (Regulation EU 168/2013) or 3 kilowatts (Directive 2002/24/EC)
Depending on the date of approval of vehicle, the applicable European standard is the Directive 2002/24/EC or the Regulation EU 168/2013.
See the heading (K) "Type-approval number" of carte grise vehicle registration certificate (VRC) to find out what standard it is approved to.
The amount of the aid shall be €250 by kWh: titleContent of battery power not exceeding the lower of the following 2 amounts:
- either 27% of the cost of acquisition TTC: titleContent of the vehicle plus the cost of the battery if it is rented,
- either €900.
The amount shall be increased by €1,000if you live overseas provided that you are traveling with the new vehicle for 6 months or more following its acquisition.
Power output below 2 kilowatts (Regulation EU 168/2013) or 3 kilowatts (Directive 2002/24/EC)
Depending on the date of approval of vehicle, the applicable European standard is the Directive 2002/24/EC or the Regulation EU 168/2013.

The amount of aid shall be fixed at 20% of the cost of acquisition, including VAT, of the vehicle up to €100.
The amount shall be increased by €1,000if you live overseas provided that you are traveling with the new vehicle for 6 months or more following its acquisition.
The ecological bonus can be deducted from the purchase price by the professional, or refunded if you request it after the purchase.

Advance by the professional
The bonus is deducted from the purchase price TTC: titleContent if the trader (dealer, body which has granted a micro-credit for own vehicle) agrees to advance you the amount of the bonus.
The bonus and any mark-up must be identified and visible on the invoice: there is a specific line indicating the amount of the bonus granted.
Personal request
If the trader (dealer, body which has granted a micro-credit for own vehicle) does not advance you the bonus, you must apply for it yourself online.
If the bonus is combined with the conversion premium, you must make a single application for the 2 aids.
Please note
Applications for aid must be made no later than 6 months according to the date of billing of the vehicle.
In the case of a lease, the application for aid must be made no later than 6 months following the date of payment of 1er rent.
