Change of name for legitimate reason: find an extract from the Official Journal (Online service)

To build your file for a change of name on legitimate grounds, you need the ad printed from the Official Journal (OJ).

This online service allows you to search for a particular JO and download an authenticated extract.

Warning  

You need to know the date or number of the OJ in which the ad you are looking for was published.

Follow these steps:

  • Choose the date of publication of the OJ concerning you
  • Click at the end of the summary of the OJ searched on "Request for name change"
  • Click Go To to the protected area in the middle of the page
  • Click Extract from the authenticated electronic Official Journal to download the pdf file of the OJ

Please note

the signing certificate is embedded in the pdf file. So you can legally rely on the text once it's printed.
