What if you notice an error, an oversight... in the French naturalization decree?

You can request a rectification if the order contains one or more errors.

You can request a alteration if the decree does not take into account an event that occurred before it was signed.

Examples:

- there is an error in your marital status or that of your children,

- the decree does not take into account the birth of a child during the naturalization procedure.

FYI

You may at any time withdraw your request for modification or rectification.
